Question re: using Xbox 360 as an extender

Hello all - this past weekend, I hooked up my sons Xbox 360 as a media center extender; seems to work pretty well.

However, I noticed that within the exntnder menus you are able to delete files (music files for example) off the main VMC PC. Is there any way to restrict this ability? Id feel more comfortable knowing my son couldnt accidentally delete important files.

     Thx

Unfortunatly no, there isn't a good way to do this.  If you really want to restrict the ability to delete stuff, you would have to change the permissions on the folders so that the MCX1 (or whatever the extender account name is) has read-only permissions set.  Not exactly a friendly way to do it though.
    Just my $0.02.
