Hi folks, I've hunted around for a way to make Sky Player on the 7MC save that password. I've occasionally found the odd thing worth watching on Sky Player, but that need to type in that password, for me , is a major annoyance... Anyone found a way around it ? Dale

Had a Nova-TD usb stick that worked really well in Vista. Upgraded to Win 7, and now its performance is very hit and miss. Win 7 picked it up ok, but it seems to lose channels on a random basis. Anyone else had any problems? Thanks EZ

Hi, installed W7 64 RTM and very happy except for one thing. The Win Mediaplayer will play a .ifo or a .vob file from the hard disk. W7MC will not play .vob files (only sound and a black background) and the .ifo files do not show in W7MC. Does anyone know of a solution for this? Thanks in advance, Fred

I had my first play with Win 7 last night, and my only frustrations were playing ripped films on the Xbox. I pretty much accepted vob's wouldn't work, and thankfully trancode 360 still seemed intact after the upgrade. What did frustrate me was the inability to play xvids. The 360 kept telling...

I have done some dugging and found that the TV Pack 2008 increased the number of tuners supported by Media Center and I assume these changes will also be included in Windows 7. But I can not find out how many of each type of tuner Windows 7 or the TV Pack supports. Does any have the figures?

Hi all, So I've been playing around with 7mc and the xbox 360 (as an extender), watching mpeg4 podcasts without needing to transcode them, all of a sudden, it stopped working, now when I try to play a podcast in mpeg4 it says Transcode Error - Could Not Start Transcoding Process... Anyone knows how...

Don't really know. Confessing my ignorance about this here. :) I subscribe to what Comcast calls "Basic Cable" (aka CHEAP) and so it's analog for the most part.. though it does also carry some HD channels which my Hauppauge tuners can't see.

Nobody? I thought I was supposed to be able to get my .wtv files into Zune 3.1. Even when I click-drag a file into the Zune Videos part of my collection, I see the slashed-circle. Is that what everyone else is getting? Thanks, Kevin
