My father-in-law upgraded to Win 7 yesterday, but we didn't realise that onecare wouldn't work with it (he had it on two machines, one XP and the other his dedicated Vista Media Center). Any suggestions to either get onecare working on the Win 7 machine, or some other form of security protection...

Good evening folks, I ,like a great many of us, love what Media Center does for my home. I love the watching TV any any room , watching managed DVDs and Blu-Rays, recorded shows , music , radio etc. But, again like a great many of us , I am annoyed that I couldnt get Sky on my media center natively....

I'm tearing my hair out with this and I don't have enough to lose! I just can't get the PC to resume from sleep. I can press the button on the remote to send it to sleep but the button won't wake it again! Actually, nothing wakes it, not a mouse or keyboard press and I have to power down...

I am curious if anyone has an issue with their laptop connecting back to your wireless network after the laptop awakes from sleeping. Mine shows the connection established but says the connection is minimal. Not the exact words. I have to reboot the laptop for it to then re-connect. Any others having...

hey there. I tested positive on using the WHS connector to open and existing backup (both SYS and DATA drives). I also tested postive on the WHS 64 connector (was not thunked into *32) running a backup to WHS and locking up. See my post below as it totaly screwed my system.hive file and killed my WHS...

Quick question as I am about to do the same. Are you running the 64bit version of Windows 7? AMD or Intel? What nic card driver set? Finally, all wired (100/1000) or wireless in the mix? I just tested this on Windows 7 64 connected to a WHS and it worked fine for me. I tried to copy in the screen shots...
