Hi folks, I've hunted around for a way to make Sky Player on the 7MC save that password. I've occasionally found the odd thing worth watching on Sky Player, but that need to type in that password, for me , is a major annoyance... Anyone found a way around it ? Dale

Had a Nova-TD usb stick that worked really well in Vista. Upgraded to Win 7, and now its performance is very hit and miss. Win 7 picked it up ok, but it seems to lose channels on a random basis. Anyone else had any problems? Thanks EZ

Hi, installed W7 64 RTM and very happy except for one thing. The Win Mediaplayer will play a .ifo or a .vob file from the hard disk. W7MC will not play .vob files (only sound and a black background) and the .ifo files do not show in W7MC. Does anyone know of a solution for this? Thanks in advance, Fred

I had my first play with Win 7 last night, and my only frustrations were playing ripped films on the Xbox. I pretty much accepted vob's wouldn't work, and thankfully trancode 360 still seemed intact after the upgrade. What did frustrate me was the inability to play xvids. The 360 kept telling...

Hello, I am having terrible trouble getting my Creative X-Fi Extreme PCI audio card to deliver surround sound in MCE 7. I do get stereo. Disappointingly, Creative are not doing much to update their drivers. They have a beta but it doesn't produce 5.1 sound with this particular card. Some valiant...

Hi all! I'm in the process of ripping all my DVDs and putting them on my WHS. However, there are some DVD collections I got that are old enough to not benefit from the DVD format. Because of that I would rather store them in a compressed format such as DivX, XVid, WMV, H.264, MKV and.... yeah, that...

It seems that build 7022 has leaked (http://www.redmondpie.com/windows-7-build-7022-leaks-out-in-the-wild/) and is now circulating around the web? Im wondering if this build contains media center changes such as dual-tuner bug fixes? It has some minor changes (including an updated version of IE8). Anyone...

With the beta due out at some point today (ideal for me, so I can install on the weekend now!), I want to add a dual-tuner DVB-S card to my HTPC to go alongside my Dual tuner DVB-T card. I know this has been possible since the TV pack, but as I don’t have vista, this will be my first foray into...

I guess this is when I can finally give 7MC a real test on my HTPC! Is the date a coincidence I wonder? :) http://windows7news.com/2008/12/18/public-windows-7-beta-news/
