It looks like another manufacture is trying the Sideshow Remote Control route, Silver PAC have a new 4.3 inch touchscreen remote. The Evolution 5500 controls Windows Media Center, plus up to 100 other devices and Sideshow functionality. Sideshow is a technology that promised a lot but in realty we have seen very little in way of practical uses of it.
It has 1GB of flash memory, light sensor, speaker, mic and Z-Way wireless. I should be seeing the unit in person at CES so I will try and find out more details (including the price)
